Composite Doors

At Yorkshire Windows, we've developed a range of composite doors that combine the very best in security, strength, weather resistance and easy maintenance to provide you with a door that is both good-looking and functional.

Every composite door we manufacture is 44mm thick, a whole 16mm thicker than our conventional uPVC panel doors, and incredibly strong.

And because we've been at the forefront of advancing door technology, our composite doors have an advanced structural frame and up-to-date hardware making it one of the most secure doors we supply. And thanks to its GRP finish, your composite door will provide your property with secure and durable protection against all the elements.

Our composite doors are suitable for both commercial and domestic use and come in a range of external colours and are white internally. The colours include the following:

  • Black
  • Red
  • Blue
  • Green
  • White
  • Light oak

All of the colours, with the exception of light oak, are pre-pigmented, meaning that we add the colour during manufacture to give a smooth, even finish. If you choose light oak as an external colour, you can be assured that it is hand finished to provide you with a deep wood grain. Every door, regardless of external colour, is treated to a high gloss, UV resistant film to provide them with an attractive finish.

Like all of the doors we supply here at Yorkshire Windows, our composite doors come complete with a wealth of security features for your complete peace of mind. These features are as follows:

  • Each composite door is fitted with the Secure By Design Fullex SL16 Crimebeater lock as standard
  • The multi-point locking mechanism has been fully tested to PAS23 and PAS24 standards and is approved by the Secure By Design scheme, which means it is a completely secure and safe locking mechanism
  • This lock is also made to accommodate lever/pad handle mechanisms when needed
  • To provide added security, every lock has five pins and four anti-lock pins with a cylinder protector as standard, therefore preventing forced entry even if the handle should be removed
  • Every door has a range of hardware to match including gold, chrome and black, which means that every component from knockers to handles is designed to match

This really is an incredibly secure door, and when it is installed by our professional team of door fitters here at Yorkshire Windows, you know that it is virtually impenetrable, no matter how determined the attack – guaranteed!
